There's nothing that pays tribute to the Cornwall coast more than a beautiful group of sassy seagulls! Not their biggest fan? That's okay you can make a flock of BoHo birds instead! Whichever one you pick you can learn all about glass art with this relaxing workshop.

During this fun fused glass class, you will learn how to safely work with glass, from cutting and breaking it to creating shapes out of your freshly snipped pieces. Then you can decide if you want to make some grey and white seagulls, or jazz it up with some colourful decorations. Each design can be personalised to your unique style.

Once your birds are all ready, they will go into the glass fusing kiln at a temperature of 745c and for around 22 hours. They will then be ready to take home a few days later...or for a small extra charge can be mounted onto wood for you.

Know a coastal lover or bird fan? Then this glass art class is the perfect gift experience for them. Carve out some time for them to unleash their creative side and they'll come away with a gorgeous, handmade art piece.

Overlooking the English Channel with views of Looe Island in one direction and Rame Head peninsular in the other, The Glass Shack is situated in a stunning location on the South East Coast of Cornwall.

Having spent most of her working life in corporate finance and business management, Caroline came to work with glass later in life but immediately knew it would be where her future would lie. Mostly self-taught, learning through experimentation and trial and error, she is now happily working alongside her husband, Steve, the “woodmaster” who sources and prepares all the wood bases for the glass pieces.
