What you'll do
Come and spend half a day with Sarah and learn the basic skills of mosaic making. You do not need to have any experience of this craft; you will have the half day to complete your very own slate mosaic heart. You'll work in Sarah's studio and have access to a large range of mosaic tessera (tiles). You'll learn to cut the tiles and place them. Sarah will guide you through the whole process and give a demonstration for grouting. You can come with an idea or be inspired on the day.
This is a brilliant activity to enjoy with a friend or relative. There will be a maximum of 10 students on one course. Private group bookings are welcome; this is the perfect birthday or alternative hen do party. We run parties for a variety of ages. Please do contact me for more information and to discuss alternative times and dates for workshops.

Honey Mosaics was established in 2018 by Mosaic Artist Sarah Harper. Sarah is an experienced artist with a large portfolio including working with both adults and children in education settings, large scale community projects, parties and privately commissioned pieces of work. The main ethos of Honey Mosaic's work is to help promote creativity for all through her collaborative project work, workshops and do-it-yourself mosaic kits.
Honey Mosaics have a large range of mosaic kits that are suitable for both adults and children alike. The do-it-yourself range continues to grow in popularity. There is a core range which focuses on the colours of the rainbow, each having a number of options. Each kit comes with a variety of mosaic tiles in different shapes and colours making the user able to be as creative as they wish with their chosen piece. Kits can be purchased with one or more options inside, making them ideal for families to try the craft together.
Honey Mosaics also creates a selection of personalised mosaics that often carry the company's signature bee and encompass a love of nature! All kits are suitable for inside use or outside use as garden decor. Other adult kits new to the range include house numbers.
