Under the watchful eye of your knowledgeable teacher, you'll discover the art of glass fusing, where you use brightly coloured pieces of glass to create a variety of eye-catching effects. You'll pick up a host of different glass techniques and skills, such as kiln carving, how to cut glass and the process of annealing. You'll add some artistic touches to your pieces with frit and stringers, and learn how to make glass bubbles. And the true magic is that it is all done in front of you with a humble microwave!

It's a brilliantly accessible way to capture the magic of molten glass for yourself, and is a superb starting point for complete beginners and experienced crafters alike. You'll have the full support of your talented teacher throughout the class, who'll make sure you're getting the hang of things, ensuring you leave the class with a small collection of gorgeous glass items to take home and treasure forever.
