On a full day class lunch is provided. On a 1/2 day or taster class drinks and snacks are available.
Q: Are all materials provided?
Yes, the price of the course includes all tools, materials etc. You get to keep everything you make during the class.
Q: What should I wear?
We will be working with glass that is either hot, sharp, molten or sometimes all 3! If dropped it can scorch or burn your clothes, please don’t wear your Sunday best! No shoes with an open toe, sandals etc.
Q: When should I arrive?
Try to arrive 10-15 mins before the start time, please avoid arriving too early as we may not have arrived ourselves to let you in.
Q: Do you have parking?
We have one space allocated in our on site car park, please park in space #7. Street parking is limited to 2 hours and traffic wardens do check so please avoid using this.
Q: What's the cancellation policy?
A: Free to cancel or reschedule up until 3 days before the class

What to bring
All materials and lunch are provided. You will be working with hot and sharp glass, so no open-toed shoes please. If you need reading glasses for close work please bring them just in case.

Ruth and Andy Harrison are full time self-taught glass artists based in Burton-On-Trent.Lampworking and fusing began as a hobby, quickly became an addiction followed shortly after by us selling our business and creating our own studio to work with glass full time.Glass is an obsession that satisfies us artistically as well as suiting our engineering backgrounds, melting various glass colours and cooling them to room temperature while instilling strength and durability requires a scientific approach as well as an artistic one. We are constantly inspired by the never ending palette of colour available to us and seeking the unexpected reactions that occur between them.We now teach to pass on our addiction to others!
