Hosted by Claire, an experienced glass artist based in Tayport, you'll be guided through each step of how to use glass to make your own wall panel (20cms x 15cms) or decorative glass bowl (20cms Diametre).Fused glass art is a soothing, contemplative skill that lets you turn coloured glass pieces into dazzling works of art. Under Claire's expert tutelage, you'll get to grips with every step of creating your piece, from selecting your glass to adding powders for different effects, to finally firing in the kiln to bring everything together.Don't worry if this is your first time working with glass, as all the equipment and materials you'll need are provided for you. Whether you're treating yourself or looking for unique gifts for mum, dad or any of your crafty friends, this one-of-a-kind class is sure to give everyone a great time.Please note that the piece will require several firings in a kiln and therefore will not be available for you to take home on the day of the workshop.
