What you'll do
Enjoy a creative experience together in this couples’ stained glass workshop in Liverpool, held at a welcoming studio in Wellington Yard, Wavertree. In this hands-on session, you’ll work side by side to create a beautiful stained glass photo frame to display in your home!This workshop is beginner-friendly and designed for couples looking for a unique and creative activity. With small group sizes, you’ll receive plenty of support and guidance throughout the process.What to expect:
- Work together to create a stained glass photo frame.
- Choose your glass colours from a wide selection.
- Learn the basics of stained glass in a hands-on session.
- Receive full health and safety guidance during the workshop.
- Use provided tools, materials, and personal protective equipment.
- Enjoy a small class size with a maximum of 3 couples.
- Due to the use of lead and chemicals involved in this workshop, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate pregnant women.
- No alcohol can be consumed on the premises or during workshop breaks. Treat yourself to something with bubbles later to celebrate what you’ve created.
- We are based on the ground floor. Unfortunately, the bathroom is not accessible. If you have accessibility needs, please contact us directly to arrange an alternative location for a workshop.

What you'll get
- Use of all equipment, materials, and tuition needed to hand-make your own stained glass photo booth frame.
- Gloves, safety mask, goggles, and apron are also included.

Beginner-friendly.
What to bring
- Please wear comfortable clothing (the older, the better, as you will be working with chemicals).
- Suitable footwear such as boots or trainers (no open-toed footwear).
- Bring a hair tie to safely secure your hair back.
- During the autumn and winter, we recommend wearing layers.
- If you wear glasses for reading, then please bring them.
Location
Wellington Yard - 240B Picton Road
If you are driving then enter L15 4LP into your sat nav and that will give you directions to the site. If using public transport from Liverpool City Centre then the 79 and 79c bus will drop you a few minutes walk from Wellington Yard. Alternatively the 86/86a/86c bus routes will take you to Smithdown Rd and you can walk to the site up Wellington Road. This is a longer walk though.

Hello, We are Olive Can Fly, a stained glass and flower preservation studio based on Bold St in Liverpool. We are inspired by both colour and the natural world and like to incorporate both into the pieces we create. We run various workshops including:
- An Intro to Stained Glass: A full day in our stained glass studio
- Bubbles & Blooms: A perfect hen party or group activity
- Date Night: You will work together as a couple to create something gorgeous made from glass.
