We attended the pottery painting class, and there was a great selection of pieces to choose from, including mugs, bowls, and plates. The class started right on time, and we had such a lovely experience from start to finish! My boyfriend booked this as a birthday gift for me, and I think it’s safe to say we’re both going to become addicted to pottery painting now! I highly recommend this class, especially if you’re looking for a relaxing, creative experience in a lovely, zen atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back! + more

Gifts and Presents for Mum London
Best gift experiences for Mum in London
When it comes to finding the best gift experiences for mum, London has so much to offer! Dive into our selection of unique and last-minute gifts for mums and pick something fabulous for your number one lady. Whether she’d enjoy learning how to make a wreath out of dried flowers and foliage at a flower arranging class in central London for Mother's day gift experiences or discovering how to bake a Great British Bake-Off-worthy showstopper in South London this Christmas, with one of our experience gifts she can dabble in anything from floristry and baking to Japanese cooking and soap making.
Our unique London experiences for mum are completely beginner-friendly so your mum doesn’t need to be a painting pro to channel her inner Van Gogh with us! She can simply rock up as she is, alone or with friends (or with you!) and get ready to have fun making something, whether that’s a fruity cocktail, a sweet-smelling soy candle or a whimsical watercolour.
We think your lovely mum will love the thought that went into her special present and let’s not forget the surprise of being given something different! Plus, at the end of the class, she can walk away with whatever it is that she’s made, whether that’s vegan truffles, a DIY silver ring or a beautiful bouquet of seasonal blooms.
With our experience gifts for mum London edition, you can treat your lovely mum to the special opportunity to make memories with you and the rest of her loved ones.
Top London days out with mum in 2026
If you're looking for the absolute top London days out with mum to celebrate her, you're in the right place! This year, whether it’s her birthday or Christmas, why not swap the classic bouquet and box of chocolates for a flower arranging class or chocolate-making workshop?
These are the best things to do with mum in London to relax, laugh, and create a truly lasting memory. We've picked out our highest-rated, relaxing, and enjoyable activities that Mum will actually be excited to do!
Here are a few of our favourite ideas for quality time together:
- Elegant flower arranging class: Instead of just giving her a bouquet, why not make one together? Spend a relaxing morning with a professional florist learning how to select and arrange beautiful, seasonal blooms into a stunning hand-tied bouquet you both get to take home.

Surprise her with London vouchers for mum
Want to give the most flexible and unique gifts for mothers? If you're not sure exactly what she'd like or when she's free, our London vouchers for mum are the perfect solution. They let her choose the exact workshop she wants, on a date that works perfectly for her. Here’s how to make it a brilliant surprise!
- Match her style: Think about what she loves. Is she a hands-on person who'd love a pottery or floristry class? Or is she a foodie who'd be excited to try a gourmet cooking or chocolate-making workshop? Having a general idea will help you get excited for her.
- Give the gift of choice: This is the key to a truly stress-free surprise. Instead of booking a specific date, just choose one of our flexible gift cards. She'll have three years to pick her perfect class, so there's absolutely no rush or scheduling stress.
- Help her make a day of it: You can suggest she turns her class into a full, unforgettable day out! She could book a cosy afternoon tea or a trip to a museum before her class to make it feel extra special.
- Present it with a personal touch: To make the voucher feel extra personal, try presenting it with a small, related item. You could pop it in a card with a small paintbrush, a little bag of coffee beans, or even a single flower stem. It’s a lovely, simple way to build excitement for the fun to come!
