  • 5/5 from Giacomo Zaffalon, attended Sep 2026: Really great Class, my wife and i loved it, very helpful teachers and lovely atmosphere. Spent a great afternoon learning something new.p
  • 5/5 from Dana Casteels, attended Sep 2026: Instructors were really helpful and instructive and gave us loads of time to work on our flowers. Worth bearing in mind that you only get one flower out of this workshop, but it does take a lot of time to perfect!
  • 5/5 from Sasha Haxell, attended Sep 2026: Great class, really well run and interesting, unique activity. would recommend!
  • 5/5 from Cheissie Muephy, attended Sep 2026: Great experience making Glass Flowers. Very attentive teacher and great fun. Would highly recommend. We did think the time spent making the flower would be slightly longer but the last half an hour was spent out of the studio waiting for the flowers to cool down so they could be wrapped. We then had to wait for them to be wrapped.
  • 5/5 from Helena Byrne, attended Sep 2026: Yufan is a very helpful, attentive teacher who gave me lots of patient guidance when needed. There was enough time to experiment and play. It was fascinating to learn how to melt and shape glass to create a multiculoured glass flower.
  • 5/5 from Dan Griffiths, attended Sep 2026: Me and my partner had such a wonderful time, and even as first timers walked away with something we were really proud of. Clearly and safely guided, it was a super fun afternoon I would recommend highly!
  • 5/5 from Mouna, attended Jun 2026: Did a flower making workshop with my friend for her birthday. Really enjoyed it and Yufan was extremely helpful! Definitely recommend!
  • 5/5 from Sean Smart, attended Jun 2026: My partner and I recently attended the flower making workshop taught by Yucheng, after an introduction we were taught the three main skills needed, had 15 minutes of practice time and then our 90 minute crafting window began. Yucheng was a very patient and helpful teacher, giving clear advice and showing us techniques again when asked. She really helped me adapt my plan after my initial idea was too ambitious for the time frame. I would highly recommend this class. My only notes would be that there was no sign on the door of the studio, so it was a little tricky to find.
  • 5/5 from Shuang Song, attended May 2026: Yufan is an amazing teacher - patient, skilled, and clearly explains techniques according to your skill level. As a total beginner to lampworking, I learned so much from my 4 hour class (extended my class for a fee to create a more ambitious flower), and will definitely be back for more future workshops and classes. I couldn’t recommend Puffroom studios enough :)
  • 5/5 from Eddie Somboongedd, attended May 2026: We had such an amazing date night!! Yufan was such an amazing teacher we had a lot of fun learning and would defo recommend
  • 5/5 from Maria Klatte, attended Mar 2026: Brilliant workshop - I highly recommend it. Managed to make stunning flowers after just a few minutes of instruction. This speaks volumes of how good of a teacher you get. Will definitely go again.

Hi, I’m Yufan, a glass artist and the founder of Puffroom Glass Studio in Hackney Wick, London.
My journey into glass began through textiles. I studied textile design for 5 years and graduated from the Royal College of Art, where my research often focused on materials with translucent qualities and how light interacts with surfaces. During that time, I became increasingly fascinated by the clarity and luminosity of glass.
Curious to explore this material further, I began learning different glassmaking techniques and eventually found my passion in lampworking — the art of shaping molten glass in a flame. I was drawn to its delicate scale and the immediacy of working with fire and glass.
Today, I create glass jewellery and sculptural pieces in my studio, and I love sharing this craft with others. My workshops are designed to be relaxed and beginner-friendly, offering people a chance to experience the magic of transforming molten glass into their own handmade piece.
