Fused Glass Lanterns Workshop

Craft a fused glass lantern over one day at this relaxing workshop in Wimborne

4.5 hours Class size 1 to 10     label £95

Immerse yourself in a day of creativity at this unique fused glass workshop held at your teacher Linda's home studio in Cranborne or Walford Mill Crafts. During this hands-on class, you'll learn how to make a beautiful fused glass lantern.

We'll start the workshop by making a suncatcher, incorporating the different materials we will be using throughout the session and learning about glass and the process of creating a lantern. Then, it's time to create the panels for your lantern.

Using pre-cut base glass, beads, granules and glass paints, you'll learn how to make your designs. Linda will bring in templates and examples to follow or you can get creative with it. Choose from abstract shapes, flowers, a sea theme or trees of the seasons, the choice is yours!

By the end of the day, you'll not only have learned a new skill but also have a stunning glass piece to admire. Your finished designs will be ready for collection after 10 days, or you can opt to have them posted to you for a small additional fee of £10. Get ready to dive into the enchanting world of glass artistry and bring your creative visions to life.
