I'm an experienced artist, working across the fields of painting, print and fused glass, with works exhibited in London and New York. I love working with glass in particular, as it gives a tactile feeling that's often missing in this increasingly digital world.

I can't wait to share my skills and experience with you, helping you to create beautiful fused glass art of your own!

The class was so much fun! Nadine is an excellent teacher, full of advice and recommendations, and guided everyone in the class on colour and material combinations to make our designs come to life. The materials provided were all beautiful. As I was a little slower than the rest, Nadine allowed me to stay a little after the class ended to finish my last piece. And the room was well heated - as I had cycled there in the rain, Nadine was happy for me to put my wet clothes on the radiator to dry! Thanks for being so accommodating.

Our glass fusing workshop with Nadine was the perfect birthday gift. Nadine was so welcoming and really put us at ease even though we are not arty people. She encouraged our creativity to a point where we were creating without thinking. As a teacher she was fantastic, but moreover she allowed us to be free and create without judgement. I would reccomend making glass with Nadine for anyone who, like me, remembers the joy of drawing as a child but hasn't had the pleasure of doing so as an adult.

Teacher's response

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review. It was a pleasure hosting you both last weekend and hope the rest of the birthday celebrations went well. The tiles have just had their first firing and look great, I hope you find the perfect place to display them at home.

All the best,
Nadine

This class was excellent - Nadine started off with some history on the glass fusion technique, also sharing her own introduction to the art form.

She gave very clear guidance about how we should approach creating our pieces, which was helpful to a beginner such as myself. There was a wide array of materials from which to choose. I found it much easier to get a hang of glass fusion than other ceramic forms that I have tried. We were all able to make 4-5 pieces, which I felt was a good amount for a one-day workshop. I would consider taking this again in the future!

Really fun class. Easy to follow and the teacher was helpful. Small size so you really feel like you're getting good amount of attention. It involved cutting glass, which I wasn't aware of but the tool they had make it easy to cut. Recommended.

This was a great class to try something new and creative. Nadine gave a quick but thorough introduction and we quickly got stuck in with making our pieces. She continued to provide guidance through the class and had examples from other classes and suggestions for how to make something work. A very accessible and enjoyable experience.

Nadine is an absolute delight . We were a trio of elderly brothers celebrating the 70th birthday of one. Another had not done any 'art' since leaving school. We were all engrossed in the technique of fused glass and Nadine helped us all to achieve our aims, whether they were practical (a new number for the front door) or simply artistic.
A thourghly enjoyable morning
