Learn how to make fused glass tea lights in Wimborne

Interested in learning glass art techniques? Create fused glass tea lights at your teacher Linda's Cranborne studio or Walford Mill Crafts, and immerse yourself in this popular and relaxing craft.

Designed for complete beginners, we'll start the workshop by making a practice suncatcher design. From there, we'll take you through the process of making your freestanding tea light.

Seascapes, flowers or abstract patterns; there are so many unique designs for you to choose from! Linda has lots of templates and designs, but if you have some ideas of what you would like to make please bring them along with you.

Your final piece will be made from pre-cut shapes and glass granules and ready to collect 10 days after the class. Alternatively, they can be posted to you for an additional cost of £8.


Knowledge required
No experience is necessary. Suitable for beginners and those who have worked with glass before.

Linda has been a glass artist for over 20 years, based at her workshop near Cranborne, Dorset.

Linda explores the traditional techniques of stained glass, copper foil ‘tiffany’, mosaics and glass fusing. Captivated by the light, texture and colour combinations of glass, she has developed a range of vibrant contemporary designs.

These include, framed tiffany pictures and sun catchers, vibrant fused glass jewellery, and fused glass hangings, coasters and bowls.

Her work is inspired by the natural forms and colours.
