What you'll do
Learn how to create a beautiful work of art using Japanese carving techniques in this virtual experience. Led by an experienced artist, you'll be taught how to use a soft vinyl sheet and chisel to carve intricate designs.
Japanese carving is similar to stained glass in its beauty and produces unique results with each mark made. You will be carving into vinyl, which is much less labour-intensive than wood carving, and yet your finished piece will still be very attractive.
In this online class, you'll not only learn the technical aspects of Japanese carving but will also gain an understanding of the history and development of this craft with plenty of support from your teacher. You may not complete your piece within your online class time, but you'll be given all the information and instruction you need to finish it off independently.
All the materials you need, including a craft box with the necessary tools, will be delivered to your doorstep. The only thing you need to provide is a flat surface to work on.
The light will shine beautifully through your finished artwork, making it a joy to display in your home.
This is a relaxing and calming craft to enjoy, and once you have the skills and tools provided through this art class, you'll be able to work on more pieces by yourself. By the end of your Japanese carving activity, you'll have a unique and beautiful piece of art to treasure.

I've learned all over the world with different tutors to learn new skills, methods, and special techniques, combine my own creations, and after much trial and error, different kinds of unique and one-of-a-kind items are made. Most of the items can be personalised & made to order which makes our products special.
Also, we have some craft kits which allow beginners to start their craft time in an easier way, just enjoy the handicraft time as I do.

I am a trained aromatherapist, a Korea candle craft association instructor, Korea KAHA handicraft association instructor, and a Korea IADA plaster art instructor. I also have a diploma in Japanese amino acid soap. Finally, a Japanese carving instructor as well.
