Introductory Pottery Wheel Taster Class
I've always wanted to try making something on a pottery wheel and the teacher (Tracey) was lovely and very skilled, helping me create my bowls. The studio in Woburn Sands was nicely set up and I ended up getting private tuition as I chose a quiet Wednesday afternoon session which was an added bonus! The studio is well.located in the Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham, easily accessible by car, bus, tram or train. A very informal and friendly environment helped to put us at ease. Tutor Chris is extremely patient - clearly has come across clumsy twits like me before! Couples Wheel Throwing Workshop and Challenge
We attended the couples pottery workshop as a present for my husband. It was really good fun and Angela was a great teacher. We managed to make 4 pots in an hour, and even managed to make some as a team. The session was nice and intimate so we had Angela's expertise for the whole time. Nam was an amazing teacher, very patient and made the whole experience very fun and we learnt some very interesting things regarding Rakugi/Kintsugi. The venue was easy to find and if had any issues you have a contact number. With this class there were no extra charges with taking your piece home. Overall this was a relaxing experience for the 5 of us and we were never rushed with our session, + more
