What you'll do

Ignite your creativity in this two-hour candle-making workshop in Edinburgh, it's the perfect start for your candle-making journey!

No experience is required for this workshop and all the candle making supplies and materials are provided. So you can just come along and have fun crafting.

Guided by your friendly teachers from Candle Creations Edinburgh, you will be introduced to different types of candles and wax and you will never look at the candles the same way as before. You will learn how to make a candle in a container using the finest natural wax and fragrance of your choice from our fragrance library.

You will also make two natural wax tealight candles and a scented wax ornament with your choice of fragrance and decorations.

Beginner-friendly.
All guests to be over the age of 12. Under 18s must be accompanied by a paid parent/carer.

What you'll get

Candle Creations studio is situated in the beautiful Bruntsfield area in Edinburgh, Scotland. We sell handcrafted candles that are created in our studio. We hold fun, informative, hands-on candle making workshops for beginners, intermediates and entrepreneurs looking to start a candle making business.

Our instructor Sarah was wonderful! She was patient, and had a lot of knowledge and experience about this field. There was not a single question she didn't have the answer to. The space/venue was light, airy, clean and very beautiful. I particularly loved that it was decorated with some of her exceptional works on the shelves.

As for the session itself, the materials provided were all prepared beforehand (ie. wicks were measured). There was a great range of fragrances and decorations to work with too.
For the session we did we made a jar candle, two tea lights and a tablet. Having never done this before, I thoroughly enjoyed myself!

Sarah runs an amazing experience. Really relaxed and informative. Learned about the fragrance industry, how different waxes are made and about candle-making as an art.
The whole experience was expertly done and amazing fun. Walked away with a load of beautiful candles that we got to make ourselves. Sarah is a great teacher her passion shines through every moment of the workshop.

Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice way to enjoy a nice quiet afternoon.

Had a wonderful, relaxing time making candles. The teacher was so friendly and made sure we all understood what we were doing, and the materials provided were really good quality. We all made 4 candles each, which we did get to keep. The experience is definitely worth the money, so if you're looking for a relaxing afternoon learning a new skill in Edinburgh, this is the place to go!
