  • 4/5 from Tracey Powell, attended Oct 2025: Enjoyed one to one with becka because She was friendly and helpful it was fun Also to no what I've been doing wrong
  • 4/5 from Marion Lowe, attended Oct 2024: Lovely teacher at Yeovil Hobbycraft. Enjoyed learning acrylic pain pouring - first time doing any painting or artwork for me. Materials were fine as start up and I felt it was good value for money. Felt rather rushed in just the hour. Would have been better if the teacher had got everything laid out a bit earlier as I felt that seemed to seep into the hour. Seems a shame that there were no facilities to wash your hands near to the workshop space. My friend needed to do this before being able to go round the rest of the shop afterwards to purchase other items. Our teach escorted her downstairs to the WC facilities. At home I cropped and saved pics of my 2 pieces of work as they were left in the store to dry off for a few days. Pics below...
  • 5/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Aug 2024: It was a lovely course to do, the trainer was good too, the only thing I would say is 1 hour isn't long enough once youve just started painting, almost 1.5 or 2 hours is better for future reference.
  • 4/5 from Sarah Northfield, attended Jul 2023: I enjoyed this Workshop, myself & a friend booked a private class (available for 2-5 people) which was good. We were provided with a Hobbycraft Acrylic Paint Pouring Kit (which included practise canvas mats), a pack of Ceramic Coasters & a Cotton Canvas Bag to carry it home in - this was all great value for money. Our teacher was friendly - a couple of times she started pouring her paint ahead of explaining what she was doing, so felt slightly rushed and had to catch up. We practised on two sample boards (you collect these a couple of days later once dried). This is a messy craft but enjoyed doing the workshop. The only downside was I wished it could of been slightly longer due to the time it takes to get the paint mixed and applied/moving/coated on each mat, but luckily YouTube will be my research friend!
  • 5/5 from Sandra Giddings, attended Feb 2023: Attended the Acrylic paint pouring course at Yeovil Hobbycraft with my adult daughter. It was great fun. A full kit of paints, practice canvases, a mounted canvas and tools provided as a kit and you get to keep it all. We tried 3 different techniques. The staff were professional, helpful and friendly. Definitely recommended!
  • 5/5 from Suzanne Kemp, attended Dec 2022: I had a one to one session - very informative. The teacher was attentive and took her time to explain the process.
  • 5/5 from Tracy Holland, attended Nov 2022: Georgina was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I didn't really know anything about paint pouring, she explained the various techniques to me. We practised a few times and I have more paint and canvases to practice at home. Would recommend.
  • 4/5 from Rita Robinson, attended Oct 2022: The teacher was very friendly, informative, supportive and organised. The area was well set up. The course seemed to be good value as I left with a kit for continuing at home. I was able to produce 3 paintings which I will be happy to display at home.
  • 4/5 from Nicola Corner, attended Oct 2022: Really enjoyed the class. The kit we were given was great to start you off. Just wish that the class had been a bit longer.
