Thank you GIsela. The kit is excellent value.

We chose to make two paintings on canvas (provided) using the two different techniques we were taught and have since made the coasters (provided) too. Our class was two adults and an 8 year old. Washing up took a while but we were warned it could be messy so were well prepared. Useful to have a hair dryer handy in case you want to use this for an added bonus for one of the techniques. Thoroughly recommend. Great value for money. We also got an unexpected linen bag each which can be used for crafts too.

Need a plastic sheet for working on and another to place your creations on to dry. Great fun though especially, if like me, you have a 5 year old granddaughter joining in the fun too!

The teacher explained things really well and was easy to follow. The kit came with everything that you need. There is enough in the kit to keep going after the lesson finishes or to do later on. I definitely recommend doing the class. Only thing is if you have small hands, it might be easier using your own gloves because the ones that come in the set are huge.

A pity half the participants turned off camera and sound, so were not in evidence, as you learn from other people’s questions and comments. A very enjoyable introduction to paint pouring.

We really enjoyed it even though we were catching up! Once we've seen the video, we'll know what we missed! Thank you to our workshop tutor (Gisela, I think) who took it in her stride when we suddenly appeared. She explained it well and having the info come up next to the zoom picture definitely helped us and we managed to get 2 pieces each done. She answered peoples questions as we went along too. Sorry I can't put a photo up, but i don't know how.

Great paint set delivered a couple of days before which is the only complaint is that Hobbycraft does not send out crafts at least one week before, as I sometimes have to chase several times.

Plenty of paint to have more sessions, perhaps with the grandchildren. It was fairly easy to wash up the equipment and get it ready for another time. I have been wanting to try this technique for quite a while and it was certainly a great opportunity, especially at the sale price! A really great afternoon.

Nothing felt rushed as some others have been and I really enjoyed learning this new paint technique. I'm planning to get a couple more colours of paint and start on the coasters.

The only reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5 is that the course ran over. This was not the fault of the presenter who was very good, very clear and informative and made it easy to follow what she was doing. However, I just felt that she needed more time to cover the 2 techniques, although the first part of the 2 techniques is pretty similar, we still needed time to do this. But would recommend to others. It was a fun thing to do on a dreary Saturday afternoon and I have been left feeling inspired to explore more.

However my paint set seemed to be old because some of the colours had separated and despite rigorous shaking they wouldn't mix. They had also gone thick and gloopy so wouldn't pour. A small bottle of the pouring medium to dilute the colours in the box would have been helpful so I could dilute my paints. The pace of the class was a bit too fast for me as a complete novice and as I had so many problems actually getting the paint to move on the canvas because it was so thick. I have no idea how to get a gift card as I had my hair dryer on a lot trying to move the paint so I couldn't hear what the teacher was saying. I couldn't download a photo as my phone isn't sophisticated enough.
