Whether you’re just looking for creative inspiration or you’re completely new to acrylic paint pouring, this is a great way to learn simple techniques. The workshop will involve ring pouring and flip cup pouring, showing you different ways to pour your paint to achieve two beautiful results.
The Hobbycraft Artisan will take you through each step of the pouring process, guiding you with tips and tricks along the way. Enjoy mastering the techniques and exploring your creativity as you try your hand at this relaxing, artistic activity.
Once they’ve been allowed roughly 24 hours to dry, you’ll be all set to start showing off your new skills.

Had to have the class rescheduled as when i attempted to access it using the link, there was no hobbycraft host however customer services were very helpful and rescheduled me on the next day’s class, It was a very fun and enjoyable class and allows creativity through choosing colours. I am really pleased with my canvas board and enjoyed seeing how it changed during the evening as the paint continued to move. I used different colours to the canvas for the three coasters that I managed to complete during the class and they all look totally different even with the same paint pot. Fantastic!

This was a first class introduction to acrylic paint pouring with so many good tips and onward suggestions. Gisela was an excellent tutor and I was astounded that on this occasion the class was 1-1 making it even more superb value for money. I loved the workshop. Finally decided to attend one. The workshop was non stop (the time went very quick) and it allowed to learn 4 different techniques. It is pity that you need to use so much paint and then a good amount goes for waste but it is necessary so that you have enough to move around, to cover the whole canvas. If you enjoy painting in general, have a go, you are going to have a great hour.

Excellent, informative and enjoyable workshop with Emma today.
Great fun to try paint pouring techniques using a white and then black base colour. Emma was friendly and encouraging providing lots of suggestions and even followed up with links providing further ideas and information. The kit provided by Hobbycraft was great too. Lots of lovely colours left so can continue to experiment with pouring techniques.

Great fun. Be prepared to get very messy especially with your dominant paint colour on everything. Kitchen towel, wet wipes & j-cloth to hand. We learnt 2 techniques, but I preferred the first one of 4 colours in a plastic cup tipped upside down then dragged to the edges. Had such an excess of paint on my plastic sheet I used it to create another piece. Will use a metal tray in future as loads of paint left & a large & small board. Loved this new experience and the results.

Really enjoyable workshop. Rugilee explained everything in so much detail and you could tell how experienced and passionate she was about acrylic pouring. I'm no good at painting anything that looks like something, but I came away with a couple of canvases that look really good. I enjoyed it so much, I did another canvas straight after!

We have done a couple of these online classes now. They are a great way to spend an hour as a family. The craft box you receive has plenty in it. We got two pieces of art done in the class and have the tools and knowledge to try two more at our own leisure without having to purchase any more products. Our only issue this time was that the teacher went very fast. She spoke very fast and did her paint pouring fast. We asked her to slow down and she said she would and did slow down somewhat thankfully so we could try and catch up. We still had about 10mins to spare at the end. Could she perhaps have shown us some more examples of ones she’d made earlier so we could get some more inspiration? We will no doubt do another one. Thank you.

The resources provided in the kit were excellent value for money. I thoroughly enjoyed the flip cup method on the liquid art panel and thought the effects were incredible. I was really pleased with the finished design. I felt the second technique was a bit rushed in the time we had and i wasn't as pleased with the results. Maybe could have done with an extra half an hour on the time to get a better grasp of the second taught technique.

I was lucky to have 1 to 1 tuition with Rugile, who was great. The kit contained everything needed, and Rugile gave clear instructions and many useful tips. Of the colours I chose, the silver was too thick and didn't flow well. Although initially happy with the results on 2 canvas boards from the kit, within a few hours the long edges of both boards curled up so that all the paint flowed off the outer third of the boards on both sides and collected in the central gully. Not a good result! Despite this, I think the package of materials and online tuition was good value and very enjoyable.

This workshop was great. I have been wanting to try something new craft wise and this workshop did catch my eye. The kit was delivered 5 days before the workshop. At the start of the course we went through all of the products in the kit and it was great that the pots could be washed and used again. Rugile had so much knowledge and i had lots of fun learning the two techniques and will definitely try more.

Having never been good at art thought I would give this a go. Booked for myself and two nieces and we were the only ones on the session. The packs arrived 3 days beforehand with everything needed. The zoom link worked without any problem. Our artisan was very clear and informative and we spent a lovely hour being creative. We produced very different but beautiful paintings.

The tutor, Rugile was great, patient, informative and chatty, explaining everything for me and giving plenty of opportunities for questions. The kit I received was much bigger than I expected, with absolutely everything I needed. I really enjoyed the workshop, and can't wait to have another go. I would encourage anyone thinking about doing a workshop to definitely do one.
My one tiny criticism was the amount of packaging in the box, there was so much of it, it was recyclable though.

Really enjoyed the session. It was fun and easy and Rugile was very friendly and helpful. Really looking forward to continuing this new hobby. Two tips: you’ll need somewhere you can leave your work to dry for up to 72 hours and keep the plastic packaging from your kit to use in the session.

Very enjoyable workshop! The artisan was knowledgable and whilst demonstrating the basic techniques, talked through more experimental ideas to try out in the future. The workshop was well paced to be able to watch the trickier aspects and then follow along at home. We completed two very different styles of fluid art work within the hour.

The introduction to acrylic paint pouring with Hannah was a really good introduction and a lot of fun to watch and to do! I had done a pouring workshop in the past but this was the first time for me using pre-mixed off the shelf products and I was pleasantly surprised with how well they worked. I thought the kit was amazing for an Introductory kit. I would definitely recommend this workshop to anyone interested in learning about the pouring technique!

Clear instructions and advice. The hour went by so quickly. Has given me confidence to continue with fluid pouring. Not being an artistic person, I love the fact that you can get really good results and that these are often unexpected!

My daughter joined this online workshop and absolutely loved it! She was the only person and got to have a private session which was easy to follow and the instructor was brilliant and made the session great fun. Well organised, the parcel arrived well before the workshop. We'll do this again.
