What you'll do

Create your own beautifully scented candle in this relaxing candle-making workshop in London. Perfect for beginners, this hands-on experience is a calming way to unwind, get creative, and learn a new skill.

The experience:

In this chilled, step-by-step workshop, you’ll learn how to melt, mix, and pour wax to create your own candle from scratch.

Your instructor will guide you through the entire process, so no experience is needed. Just turn up, relax, and enjoy a creative break with your group.

By the end of the session, you’ll have your own handmade candle to take home.

Beginner-friendly

Candles require 2 hours setting time before collection

Suitable for individuals, couples, groups, birthdays, and team events

Arrive on time — late arrivals over 10 minutes may not be admitted

The staff (particularly my teacher I will call her Ms M because I have forgotten her name ), were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The vibe/ atmosphere was so relaxing that any stress or tension that I had just melted away - pun intended ! A must visit for bright or rainy days!

We booked a standard class but were the only people there and she gave us so much time and attention. Really recommend this class. Go for some fab food in spitalfields after and then come and pick up your set candles after! Amazing will be back for more classes! thank you!!!

The teacher, Thomas, was very good, super patient and tried to accommodate every participant. The only issue that I personally had is that the the room was full and noisy from all other classes taking place at the same time and I had a hard time hearing what Thomas was saying. Other than that, it was a lot of fun!

Decorating options of lavender and glitter. Definitely not like the picture. Flowers are not available as dangerous to use. Which I understand but the picture is deceiving. Did not take anywhere near 2 hours.

It felt really good value for money getting to make two candles in the time. Really friendly and lovely atmosphere in the venue!

When we finally found the venue, we were told we were too late to join. Had the call been answered, we would not have been as late and could have joined the class. However, the wonderful man behind the bar allowed us to stay and do free paining. Not what we had booked but it was fun.

The teacher Masha was amazing, guiding you every step of the way. I’m a perfume girl, and I love my woody musk scents. We made two candles, and the scents I settled with are. The large candle scents are sandalwood, vanilla, cinnamon, black cherry, oud, and dark honey. Small candle scents are orange, clove, tonka, coffee and amber My inner childhood came out with a small candle, playing with glitter, and my adult self came out to make a classier version. I highly recommend trying this if you're into candles and scents. I can’t wait to use my candles and smell my creations in action.
