We were pleasantly surprised that my daughter was the only person booked into the class. Tracey was amazing and was incredibly patient with her. She taught her the 3 different stitches and by the end my daughter was able to do them independently. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed herself and she can’t wait to put into practice what she has learnt.

  • 4/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Jul 2024: The teacher was very friendly and helped to make me feel relaxed. She was patient and demonstrated how to crochet before encouraging me to do it with her. She was very knowledgeable about her subject my only comment would be that we were interrupted by customers requiring service and I think it would be helpful for everyone if there was a notice to make it clear that she was teaching. I really enjoyed the session.

  • 4/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Aug 2023: Glad only two of us and no children (would prefer adults only classes) Have tried a number of times to learn online and books, needed face to face Managed to learn cast on, double and triple. Happy customer would recommend
  • 5/5 from Deborah Quinn, attended Jul 2023: Had a lovely time learning how to crochet. I found it quite complicated but Tracy was very patient (lucky for me) and I felt confident enough by the time I left to finish my square at home. Would definitely recommend.
  • 5/5 from Fiona Willcock, attended Jul 2023: Tracey was a brilliant tutor for this crochet starter course. She had a lot of patience and was warm and friendly
  • 4/5 from Jayne Barley, attended Jul 2023: Good materials. Tracey was very friendly and informative. I will do more work shops thank you
  • 4/5 from Sue Mullard, attended Jul 2023: Teacher - Tracy was very friendly and approachable, she spent time with each member of the group to help them, but due to having 5 ladies with different skill levels in the group it was difficult for her. My only advice for Tracy is to slow down when demonstrating a stitch and repeat. She is very skilled in crochet. Environment - The learning space was extremely hot and the store music was a little loud when trying to hear Tracy at times, and felt a little hemmed in with large a box on table. Overall - main point I learnt to hold the crochet needle and the basic treble stitch, I was a little disappointed that a few other stitches weren't included to help me crochet basic projects, Tracy did try to show me a few but not enough time to practice. An enjoyable session
  • 5/5 from Georgina Corry, attended Jan 2023: The teacher was excellent and really experienced, she showed me where my issues arose and helped me to sort them as a visual learner this was invaluable to me. The group size was great as it was small and we all got the help needed. The materials provided were really nice, two colours of chunky yarn and a suitable hook size. o feel this was well worth it and I’d recommend this to anyone who’s interested.
