What you'll do
Learn how to paint with watercolours at Bournemouth's seafront hotel. Unwind with this painting break with a beautiful coastline as an inspiring backdrop.
Join talented teacher Marilyn Allis & Sharon Hurst for a three-day watercolour painting class full of fun and top tips. This art holiday caters for all ability levels; from beginners who love immersing themselves in this creative pastime to more experienced artists hoping to shake up their style.
You'll stay in a fantastic venue in a beautiful seafront hotel in Bournemouth and learn painting skills in an amazing studio overlooking the sea. This is a unique holiday with a touch of luxury whilst learning lots of watercolour skills.
A delicious full English or continental buffet-style breakfast is available daily plus, a superb three-course evening meal. Special dietary needs catered for. Relax in the hotel bar, enjoy free wifi and parking and take walks down the inspirational coastline.
Drink in the striking sights of multicoloured beach huts, pier, gardens, shopping and the Russell Cotes museum on the doorstep.
Workshops are accompanied by coffee and tea morning and afternoon. Plus, all materials you need for your artwork are supplied. Your teacher
Marilyn Allis is a talented watercolour artist with a loose and impressionistic style. Marilyn loves to use strong vibrant colours to capture the movement and the energy of a scene.
Working mainly in watercolour, but also acrylic inks and mixed media, Marilyn won the SAA artist of the year title in 1999. She has exhibited at the RI in the Mall galleries’ and appeared on Channel 4’s watercolour challenge.
