It was very friendly with coffee and biscuits I especially liked the pace, full instructions in small parcels Although we all started with the same drawing they all came out differently

Sarah explains everything so well, and responds to the course partipants, sharing tips and techniques. The session was relaxed, friendly and the time went so quickly. I explained to Sarah my reason for booking and our circumstances, which included some details around making the class accessible for my mum in terms of her hearing/memory and what we would like to get out of the class and Sarah was fantastic - she came back to me quickly, made it super easy to organise, and the day itself was wonderful. Sarah is a skilled, kind and patient teacher and we had a lovely morning sitting in the calm of watercolour and each others company and both were delighted with our results under Sarah’s care. The area surrounding the studio is also lovely with a cute cafe and other stores, and some nice local walks, and so you could easily make a day of it all.

Don’t worry if you have not painted for years, Sarah is a great, patient teacher who has time for everyone. Class sizes are just right. Already booked onto the next 4 workshops. Such an enjoyable way to relax and forget everything for a few hours and meet some lovely people too!

The teacher was excellent, she took us through the picture step by step, explaining clearly the techniques needed. She was so patient and I never felt that I was being rushed. It was such a lovely, relaxing experience.

It was great going through the basics of applying ink, then watercolour mixing, application and shading. Sarah was very good at explaining the process. Already booked on my next course.

Sarah is a great teacher, learnt so much in 3 hours, came away with a painting I was proud of. I have already booked on 2 more sessions. The studio was very well laid out, plenty of room to work and see Sarah’s demonstrations. Would definitely recommend.

Sarah talked us through step by step ensuring we could ask questions and giving help if required. We had a great time and definitely want to book in for another in the future :) x
