  • 5/5 from Natalie Manning, attended Aug 2026: Had a lovely time, teacher was really patient and helpful as I'd never been to a class before and gave easy to follow instructions! Really pleased with the outcome of the evening! Would recommend and go again!
  • 5/5 from Joanna Hartlen, attended Aug 2026: Really enjoyed the class with Jo this evening. She was enthusiastic but patient and very attentive too. Tricky painting to achieve this one but it turned out well enough. Venue was a bit noisy and squashed as the pub was very busy so I felt a bit like we were the cabaret. Fun times had though.
  • 5/5 from Lizzie Keating, attended Jul 2026: Was so much fun. Definitely going again!
  • 5/5 from Viv Morley, attended Jun 2026: Katie is great as always. She is very patient and helpful. The Owl painting was fun, apart from the extreme heat in the venue.
  • 5/5 from Lisa Clark, attended Jun 2026: We recently spent a very warm evening in Aylesbury to paint 'Nightwatch' and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Katie was excellent, at usual, and there was a great atmosphere. The painting was fun and took our minds off the heat! Thank you for another lovely painting evening
  • 5/5 from Helen V Taylor, attended Apr 2026: Great painting. Really enjoyed it. I came on my own and was made to feel very welcome. Would definitely come again.
  • 5/5 from Rachel Smith, attended Apr 2026: We came as a group of three ladies for a birthday present. It was such fun and really enjoyable. I wasn’t sure how well we would get on, but all the pictures were great! The teacher was lovely, helpful and really good at helping all along. Will definitely attend another brush party, thank you for a great evening!

  • 5/5 from Diane Mercer, attended Apr 2026: We painted 'Bright Eyes' my rabbit was brown. We had a brilliant evening teacher & night.
  • 4/5 from Alison Donovan, attended Apr 2026: Went to this just for fun and had a great time. The instructor was easy to follow and encouraged us all to trust the process. It worked a produced a lovely painting that felt more original (anticipated a painting by numbers style) than expected.
  • 5/5 from Janani Rajendra, attended Mar 2026: It was really great! Our instructor was really patient and ensured we all knew what we were doing. She also came round and helped us touch things up at the end! Thank you for having me. Would definitely recommend
  • 5/5 from Erika, attended Mar 2026: This was my third Brush party and I did it with 2 friends. We did the castle/train painting and it was quite hard. The other 2 times there were 2 teachers which made it easier to get feedback and help during the class, the pub was very loud and for most of the time so not a great venue, it was also hard to see what the teacher was paint due to the set up, i was at the end of a long table and couldn't see properly. The teacher was otherwise great and the materials provided were adequate but the small brushes could be better. Overall it was a great time and I will definitely do it again.
  • 5/5 from Cassie, attended Feb 2026: This was my first time, it was absolutely fantastic, great tutor, amazing people. Would highly recommend
  • 5/5 from Rob, attended Feb 2026: Very enthusiastic and helpful teacher and carefully walked thru each step to come up with our masterpieces. Will definitely be coming along again.
  • 5/5 from Sarah Vaughan, attended Feb 2026: Night out with a friend, great fun, great atmosphere, teacher informative. Go with friends or go solo everyone talks to each other and no pressure.
  • 5/5 from Paula Cairney, attended Feb 2026: Everything was great. A good night whilst learning to paint. Can’t wait to book again Fantastic
  • 5/5 from Jayne Newman, attended Jan 2026: Brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I have no artistic skills whatsoever (matchstick people for me if asked to draw a person) so was dreading it. Was absolutely chuffed with the painting. Thank you so much. Can't wait to go again
  • 5/5 from Sarah, attended Dec 2025: We had such a lovely time, so much fun! And I actually came home with a painting I was proud of.
  • 4/5 from Sharleen Shewry, attended Dec 2025: This was a nice experience, I’ve not done one before so was a first for me. Overall the class was good, I came away with a painting that resembled the overall picture. I did feel some parts were rushed. I understand as there was a time restriction but I could have done with the last parts not being so rushed.
  • 5/5 from Bryna Holmes, attended Nov 2025: Went with a friend who had done one previously and said how good it was. It was fast paced and you needed to concentrate, but instructions were clear and easy to follow. Was great to see the painting forming as you went along! Everyone's paintings looked great at the end no matter how much painting experience they had! Definitely want to do another!
  • 3/5 from Caroline Clark, attended Nov 2025: I found the whole thing very rushed, we didn’t have the time to mix the colours properly and the instructions weren’t very clear. Disappointed with the end result.
  • 2/5 from Kimberley Robertson, attended Nov 2025: I really enjoy brush parties, but this one felt a little rushed, and I struggled to keep up, which affected how enjoyable it was for me. - we finished with lots of time spare…
  • 5/5 from Donna Chabanne, attended Oct 2025: The moon gazing hare painting was particularly special to me. I lost my mum earlier this year and she had a love of hares so I wanted It to come out well. Teacher was amazing and gave me some extra guidance to ensure I was please with result. I was super happy with how my painting turned out.

  • 5/5 from Lisa Clark, attended Oct 2025: Love doing Brush Party with Katie. She's a great host, lots of fun, and makes it really easy to follow along. I've really improved my skills and confidence in painting with Katie, and it's always a great atmosphere at her events.
  • 5/5 from Beverley Mills, attended Sep 2025: Amazing evening, fabulous leader/painter, very kind and nothing was to much trouble! Can’t wait to book the next one
  • 5/5 from Myra Ferguson, attended Sep 2025: A great evening! I went on my own but everyone is so friendly, we all start on the same level - no need to have painting experience, you learn step by step, with loads of help if you need it from the lovely instructors. Give it a go!!
  • 5/5 from K A Martin, attended Sep 2025: Both hosts were lovely and helpful. Clear instructions and approachable with queries. The Highland cow was lots of fun with plenty of scope for individual expression. We sat opposite each other so we had a final reveal of the work which was fun and a little competion for us as a couple. I look forward to displaying our artworks together.
  • 5/5 from Alison Benson, attended Aug 2025: Thoroughly enjoyed my first paint party. David was great, very patient and genuine. Would definitely attend another one.
  • 4/5 from Joanna Hartlen, attended Aug 2025: I enjoyed the class but this evening's tutor had a different style. He explained what he was doing but wasn't as engaged with or attentive towards the painters as we usually experience and the class was quite fast paced finishing half an hour earlier than usual. Our party were all happy with our paintings and we had fun but we got lost along the way quite a few times with techniques, colour mixes and which brush to use.
  • 5/5 from Lisa Clark, attended Jun 2025: My friend and I had another lovely evening painting with Brush Party. This time we found the painting harder than a previous one, but learned some brush techniques and got the hang of it quite quickly. Katie, our guide, was clear and detailed in her explanations if blending, brush strokes and colour mixing. She was a very friendly and welcoming host. The Honey Bee in Aylesbury is a great venue for group gatherings. We shall be back for more!
  • 5/5 from Jayne Mulkern, attended Jun 2025: Really pleased, very good instructions such good fun
  • 5/5 from Joanna Hartlen, attended May 2025: Another great class with Laura at the Honeybee.

  • 5/5 from Miki Salway, attended Apr 2025: Great teacher and lovely assistant. Was a little noisy in the pub but the class was ran really well. Could hear and see well. Very proud of my art
  • 5/5 from Jodie Coghill, attended Feb 2025: Such a friendly fun atmosphere! Felt a bit daunted going in as I’ve never painted before but the teacher and assistant made it really fun and easy to follow. I really liked the music in the background too and that the teacher gave different tips depending how you wanted your painting to look and encouraged you to do your own spin if you wanted to.
  • 5/5 from Joanna Hartlen, attended Feb 2025: Another great painting with Katie's guidance. Tricky one this time but really enjoyed it. 4 of us attended this time and had great fun. Can't get enough of Brush party, so much fun.
  • 5/5 from Jackie Vines, attended Feb 2025: Good fun. Good instruction.
  • 5/5 from Maria Cook, attended Feb 2025: First timer - loved it, great teacher, lots of fun!
  • 5/5 from Julia Ellis, attended Feb 2025: Great teacher. Well explained and time for us to potter about a little bit on our masterpieces. I left very happy with my picture and my friend was delighted with hers too. I didn’t like the venue. Too cramped, they ran out of basic soft drinks and the toilets were awful despite me flushing them all twice and talking to the staff about them. An hour later they were still unpleasant. I’d definitely do another Brush Party, but not at this venue!!!!
  • 5/5 from Diane Mercer, attended Jan 2025: Very clear introductions on what to do. Help when needed a fun night out

  • 5/5 from Jackie Vines, attended Dec 2024: Great as always. A challenge on certain aspects of this particular picture. It’s fun.
  • 5/5 from Zoe Jennings, attended Dec 2024: Ice Ice Angus red; really friendly approachable teacher and support! Had a lovely time with my friend, we were able to sit at a two seater table which was great for us as we both have some anxiety around crowds. We felt included without being in the middle of everyone. Love our pictures and I’m definitely going to ask for gift cards for Xmas!
