Art and Wine Experience

Looking for fun things to do in Edinburgh? This paint and sip workshop offers a fun, relaxed and creative night out in Edinburgh's fabulous city centre, and is perfect for those who want to reengage with their creative side, or enjoy a bit of escapism.With hands-on help from local painter Suzanne Kemplay, you will learn how to create your very own still life, portrait or landscape painting using acrylic paints, while enjoying a glass of wine served with cheese and crackers plus our usual selection of locally-blended Shibui teas, and coffee options.You don't have to be able to draw, so it's perfect for beginners as well as those who are new to using acrylic paints. And we think you'll be amazed at what you can achieve in one evening!Suzanne offers a range of themes throughout the year, and you will be given a choice of 2 options to paint on the night. She'll also provide a brief background to the artist's work, and support throughout the evening to help you make the most of your time.No previous experience is needed. Images can be traced so the focus is on the painting and you can get straight to work, and have fun playing with paint. Suzanne will talk you through the process showing you how to mix colours, and how to apply acrylic paint to get the best results. Please note:

• The workshop space for this class is on the first-floor of a Georgian mews building and does not have lift access.
• The Arienas workshops are planned with adults in mind. Many are suitable for teenagers, but some may require under 16s to be accompanied. Please check with the teacher before booking.
• If you'd like to book this workshop for a private group get-together, it can be brought to a location of your choice. Please get in touch with the teacher for more information.
