  • 5/5 from Julie Edwards, attended May 2026: Another fantastic class from Annabel! A real expert who weaves theoretical information seamlessly into a genuinely fun and enjoyable class. Her teaching style is warm and supportive, while managing to gently encourage us to towards expanding both our skills and comfort zone. I have enjoyed every Brush Party class I have attended, both in person and online, and I can honestly say my membership has been the best value for money ever. However Annabel is an exceptional teacher, who will very much be missed as she takes a break. I very much look forward to her return in the autumn.

  • 4/5 from Stephanie, attended Jan 2026: This class was easy to follow, the drawing was easily seen on screen this time. The tutor was really helpful and being able to interact was a huge benefit. I’m a compete newbie at watercolour so more practice needed at both drawing and water colouring. However I can’t make a Thursday so having a link to watch back is a good thing.

  • 4/5 from Abigail, attended Nov 2025: Enjoyed creating this Robin in watercolour, in the run up to Christmas. Many thanks again
  • 4/5 from Karen Williams, attended Nov 2025: The Teacher was friendly and showed us how to paint a lovely picture of a robin. She was happy to help with any queries and I learnt the best way to mix colours to get the colour I wanted. There were some negatives - the zoom link didn’t work and the office was closed so I thought I was going to miss the class. Luckily I worked out the problem and found the necessary passcode hidden in the zoom text. There was also no details of what we were due to paint given but luckily I was happy with the Robin.
  • 5/5 from Jennifer, attended Oct 2025: We had fun and the lady was very good may do some more at home.
  • 5/5 from Patricia Evans, attended Oct 2025: Tonight's painting of Autumn Leaves was very interesting from a technical point of view. Annabel, the tutor, took us through the various stages of layering up the paint to create both life like and 3D images. Certainly pleased with the result! Well done Annabel.
  • 5/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Oct 2025: I really enjoyed this class. Nice to experiment with such a wide range of colours. This made for a relaxing evening and I look forward to the next one
  • 3/5 from Suzette Stevens, attended Oct 2025: Too much talking, not enough explanation about colours, brushes and techniques and ran out of time at the end.
  • 5/5 from Patricia Evans, attended Sep 2025: Annabel is a super tutor. She explained each stage of the painting thoroughly and was happy to take questions. A very enjoyable and informative session.
  • 4/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Sep 2025: Nice to paint a bright sunny beach scene which enabled experimentation with different colours. Thank you
  • 5/5 from Laura Kewell, attended Aug 2025: Thoroughly enjoyed the painting class. Teacher was lovely and explained well. I didn't purchase the pack so got a bit confused with the paint mixing/names of paints, but that was fun mixing up colours and it didn't matter if colours were different to the teachers. Zoom technology was not my expertise but I was able hear the teacher and watch her paint. I think the only criticism was not having an actual picture of the painting, so painting from a painting I found it difficult to pick up some of the detail from the laptop screen. I would definitely book again... thank you.
  • 5/5 from Diane Cuzner, attended Aug 2025: I thought this would be beyond my abilities but I am pleased with the painting I ended up with. Great class, thank you
  • 4/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Aug 2025: I really enjoyed doing something a bit different with this one and am pleased with the results. Thank you!
  • 4/5 from Patricia Evans, attended Aug 2025: Annabel, the tutor, was good and provided lots of explanations. It was quite a pleasing subject. The event did take up rather a lot of time. In fact I think it ran for an extra hour. That is a long time for concentrated working.
  • 5/5 from Emily Ritchie, attended Jul 2025: This was such a brillaint class. Everybody enjoyed this so much! From orgainsing it to taking part it was such a smooth and fun experience
