What you'll do

Tried all the usual London attractions and looking for something a little more unique? Dive into the amazing world of abstract imagery and create a handmade masterpiece with this beginner-friendly art class in London.

If you want a different kind of art class to the franchise style painting and drinking type where students copy a picture in painting by numbers style, then this is the workshop you've been looking for!

You'll meet your expert teachers, Colin & Tere (known as TeamTC), at a meeting place in Hackney, East London and she will take you over to their quirky and bohemian secret studio. There'll be plenty of time to look around, ask questions and take pictures before you arrive at a unique and bohemian space, ready to perfect your painting in a calming atmosphere.

After touring the classroom, Tere will introduce you to artist Colin, who'll showcase inspiring artwork and demonstrate tricky techniques before it's your turn to take over and get painting. Don't remember the last time you picked up a paintbrush? This London art workshop is full of step-by-step guidance and will help you relax and unwind as you tap into your creative potential.

At the end of your experience, you'll have a marvellous masterpiece to take home and all the skills to match. Looking for fun group activities to enjoy with your gang? Bring them along and try some painting with a twist together!

Warm clothing during cold snaps as the studio is an industrial space with high ceilings (there's a heater though!)

Hello! We are Tere and Colin, also known by our friends as #Team TC! We are both artists, huge foodies and city lovers with a real passion for sharing experiences with students of all skill levels!

We are Londoners and love our city and where we live, which is on a cute houseboat in a fantastic, friendly and creative East London community. Colin is a full-time artist and shows his art regularly in London and at international art fairs while Tere studied art at the renowned Goldsmiths College and then worked for over 14 years in contemporary art galleries and design studios in London.

We are very sociable and love getting to know new people through hosting dinner parties and get-togethers. We regularly visit art galleries, music concerts, cinema and basically anything fun and cultural.
