No skills are needed, just a desire to have a go! If you have any questions or need a little getting started help David will set up a one-to-one zoom chat for you.If you feel you'd like a one to one session to help in a particular area or just to gauge what's involved or maybe get up to speed brush off any cobwebs, contact David for a special one to one session (£15.50).
What to bring
You you can follow along David using the Watercolour equipment you have in your collection, but most attendees sit back and relax with a cuppa tea/coffee - interact, ask questions take notes - then over the following few days/week have a go at home - using the Video created on the day as a reference.

Your teacher
A Somerset lad, but most of my life in Christchurch, Dorset. always had a passion for painting and drawing although no formal training, trained as a printer as his career when leaving school - as such went to severel art colleges for City and Guilds training so always in contact with Arty stuff. My artistic interest continued during the years as a printer and later retrained with a BSc (Hons) in Computing.Originally inspired and encoraged by local artists Alan & John Hayden, Derek Herdson and Christopher Hollick my work reflects this, containing many paintings of Mudeford Quay, Christchurch Harbour and the surrounding landscape. Although the subject matter did and still does overlap the execution is totally different.I like to say traditional paintings with a contemporaty twist.
