Crafting has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a child, it was always my favourite way to have fun — making things, experimenting, creating purely for the joy of it.Then lockdown happened.While the world slowed down, I found myself crafting all day from my sofa, with my cat happily “helping” by chasing bits of yarn across the floor. That’s when the name of my brand was born — I was procraftinating my way through lockdown, turning time into colour, texture and creativity. I made so many earrings that I eventually opened an Instagram page to try selling a few. When lockdown ended, that tiny brand faded away, but the love for creating never did.In Spring 2025, I decided to bring it back properly. I rebranded, designed my logo from scratch using my graphic design background, opened my online shop and began joining craft fairs across Edinburgh. By summer, I had taken the leap and opened my own cosy art studio — Procraftinating Corner — a welcoming, playful space where creativity feels easy, social and genuinely fun.Today, this studio is a place where people come to switch off, reconnect and create something they’re proud of.
