Join us at GRUB MCR where we'll be holding our special Studio Ghibli Painting workshop!Don't worry if you're new to painting or feel unsure about your skills; our experienced teacher will guide you every step of the way, offering advice based on your experience level. You'll start with a demonstration before diving into your painting, with a wide selection of Studio Ghibli references available for inspiration. Feel free to bring along your own reference if you have a favourite in mind.

She gave options for different skill/comfort levels by giving the option to either trace or free draw, and gave a great demonstration on how to get proportions right when drawing and how to use the tracing paper, then did it again for people who arrived slightly late and missed the first demonstration. She was very patient and friendly and we received all the supplies we needed. I also liked how everyone was able to draw and paint different things and select a reference that was their taste, often at these kind of workshops you're all painting the same thing that has been preselected by the teacher. Highly recommended!

We have a selection of amazing classes that allow people of all skill levels to learn art in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. From east to west and ancient to contemporary, workshops cover a variety of different artists and art movements and focus on exploring different cultures and developing unique ideas through the conversation with one's inner-self.​Classes are guided by Ula, a local artist with a bachelor degree in fine art and a masters in visual art. She has over 15 years of teaching experience.
