Arrive & Get Creative

Arrive & Get Creative

Step into the studio, get set up with your canvas, and ease into the session. We’ll keep things relaxed from the start — no pressure, just a chance to switch off and enjoy it.

Let Go & Start Painting

Let Go & Start Painting

Start playing with colour and movement on your canvas. I’ll guide you with simple prompts, but this is all about going with the flow and having fun with it.

Build Your Piece

Build Your Piece

Layer things up, try new ideas, and let your artwork evolve. It can get a little messy (in a good way), but that’s all part of the process.

Take It Home

Take It Home

Collect your finished canvas — a proper statement piece and a reminder of a really good time.

Grab a brush and make your mark at this relaxed, two-hour abstract painting experience in Shipley, set in a calm canal-side studio where the only rule is to enjoy yourself.
Working on a large, wall-mounted canvas with vibrant acrylics, you'll explore colour, movement, and layering in a way that feels freeing rather than fussy. There's no agenda here – just gentle guidance, plenty of space to experiment, and the satisfying experience of watching something expressive and bold take shape under your hands. No previous experience needed, and no particular style to aim for. Come as you are and see what happens.
By the end of the session, you'll have created a large abstract artwork that's entirely, unmistakably yours – something well worth hanging on a wall at home. Your piece will stay in the studio overnight to dry and will be ready to collect at your convenience the following day. If you'd like your finished work professionally framed and ready to hang, framing can be arranged for an additional cost.

I started Little House of Paint to create a space where people can switch off, have fun, and just enjoy being creative without any pressure.
Art has never been about being “good” to me — it’s about how it makes you feel. I realised so many people stop creating because they think they’re not artistic, and I wanted to change that.
Now I run relaxed, welcoming sessions from my studio, where I’ve taught hundreds of people — from complete beginners to private groups and team events.
My workshops are all about letting go, trying something new, and embracing a bit of spontaneity along the way. It’s fun, a little messy at times, and always a good laugh.
I love teaching because you can literally see the moment people relax and get into it. Most people arrive saying “I’m not creative” and leave surprised by what they’ve made.
And that never gets old.
