Hi! I’m lucy, and art has been a huge part of my life since childhood. I remember attending classes as a kid that really shaped how I see and create art today. Those early experiences inspired me to start my own classes—so I could give other children the same kind of supportive, creative environment that helped me grow into the artist I am now.
I love teaching because I get to spend time with little humans and see their creativity unfold. They make me laugh every day, and honestly, I’m a big child at heart myself—so being around their energy and imagination feels like pure joy. Watching them experiment, make mistakes, and create something uniquely theirs is incredibly rewarding.
I’m a painter and illustrator, and one of my favorite moments was when I created an illustration of a Brussels sprout Christmas tree that was projected onto Battersea Power Station for Christmas. It’s a little quirky, a bit whimsical, and definitely not something most people expect from an artist—but it perfectly captures the playful side of my work.
I’ve been running an after-school art club for five years, teaching hundreds of children and helping them explore their creativity. Recently, I’ve expanded this into full art classes, so even more young artists can enjoy learning, experimenting, and building confidence through art.
I have a Master’s in Illustration, during which I wrote and illustrated a children’s book, and a BA in Fine Art Painting. I’ve also had the opportunity to give a guest lecture at Brighton University, sharing my skills and creative process with aspiring artists at a higher education level.
I’m proud to be part of three galleries, including YAP Art, where I sell my artwork. Being represented in galleries allows me to share my art with a wider audience and connect with collectors and fellow creatives.
I want children to feel inspired because art is such a wonderful way to get creative, take a break from screens, and connect with other tiny artists. My goal is to create a fun, welcoming space where kids can explore their imagination, build confidence, and just enjoy the magic of making art.
