There’s no instructor and no rules — just grab a canvas and paint whatever inspires you while a live DJ sets the mood.
From nostalgic R&B to Afrobeat, House, Garage, and Hip Hop, every session brings a different sound and atmosphere so no two events feel the same.

Mutiple table areas so had lots of different groups going on. Such a good spot for a group gathering or just for a catch up with a friend. Kept my canvas for my dad.

The music was good (quite loud) as I had to shout to my friend who was sitting next to me, but we still had a great time. Cocktails were yum and there was no teacher. You just freestyle with paints. I think for the price, it was good value for money! Would definitely come back again, maybe even host a birthday party, as the table behind us was doing just that!

Art Play is now a new art studio which opened in East London in February 2022, where children and adults of all ages are free to release their imaginations and inner creativity.
Art Play has a strong focus and the environment and aims to educate children and adults on their environmental impact through art, using a variety of sustainable mediums and materials.
Art Play is part of the worldwide Precious Plastic community which means it will be a plastic collection point for people to drop off their HDPE plastic which would otherwise end up in landfills or the ocean. The plastic is then shredding and melted and turned into useful objects and pieces of art, such as plant pots and coasters.
