Recent reviews of Taster Icon Painting Class - Full Day
- 5/5 from Carol Dowie, attended Oct 2025: Highly enjoyable day. As someone with no painting knowledge and very limited artistic ability, I was really pleased with the results. It was nice to chat over lunch, but I would have have been happy with a slightly shorter lunch break because I was just so keen to do the painting!! I'd recommend it.
- 5/5 from Christopher Platt, attended Nov 2023: Enjoyable time with a patient and informed teacher. The atmosphere was concentrated and friendly and the lunchtime together very convivial. Learned a lot and enthused about this art form.
Your teacher
The Edinburgh School of Icon Painting was founded in September 2013. Since then it has been shaping and developing. Our mission is to make icon painting and art, in general, more accessible. We want to help our students to find the courage and become confident in finding their own style.
