Sketch Your Design
Lightly draw your design with a pencil.
We offer more than 10 design templates from which you can choose if you don't already have an idea.
Apply Adhesive
Use a fine brush to carefully apply foil glue only where you want the metallic effect.
Let the glue sit until it becomes tacky but not completely dry.
Apply the Foil
Cut foil sheets slightly larger than the area you want to cover.
Press gently with your fingers or a soft cloth so it sticks evenly.
Remove Excess Foil
Carefully brush away the excess foil.
Only the areas with adhesive should retain the foil.
Add Final Details
You can add paint, ink, or additional foil layers for highlights.
Use fine brushes to touch up edges or small details.
Seal the Artwork
Put it in the frame, and you're good to go with the sparkling artwork✨

- 5/5 from Giny Chen, attended Aug 2026: The whole experience was so relaxing and therapeutic! This time, I invited a few friends over and had the instructor come to my home for a private workshop. We spent the afternoon creating, chatting, and enjoying some really nice time together. The instructor was patient and explained everything clearly, so even if you’ve never tried this before, it’s easy to make a beautiful piece. I definitely recommend it

Ihsuan was incredibly patient and guided us step by step throughout the entire coffee painting process, making it easy and enjoyable even for beginners. I especially loved the concept of recycling used coffee grounds and turning them into beautiful art. The coffee grounds also gave off pleasant coffee aroma, which made the whole experience even more relaxing and unique. Highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking for a meaningful activity!

Ihsuan (host) was very welcoming and explained each step clearly. I loved seeing the pencil shading come together using the gold foil using paint brush and different layering techniques. We got a picture frame at the end which went perfectly with the photo I created. This was one of the best workshops ive taken in Manchester. Highly recommend!
