- 5/5 from David de Butts, attended Sep 2026: The group met in the pub for Sip & paint. There were about 15 of us and we painted a picture of a Mediterainian view through an arch towards the sea. The teacher is excellent and very tolerant of our various deficiencies. I have not painted for 50 years since I was at school and have been amazed at the relative success and confidence I have achieved through these great informal painting sessions. I have done two so far and will definitely be doing more.

I never thought in a million years I’d be able to achieve anything remotely artistic but I did! Not only did I achieve an acceptable painting but it was 2 1/2 hours of being able to think about nothing at all other than painting. Complete relaxation.
