If you're a beginner, don't worry! Our experienced instructor will explain everything in detail and answer any questions you may have. You'll feel supported throughout the class and learn at your own pace. In this Chinese cooking class, you will learn to:
  • Make noodles from scratch – both thin and thick.
  • Make the Jajang and sauce to go on top of the noodles.
  • Cook and present the dish.
  • Understand the Shanghai version and the Korean Jajang Myeon in the same class.
By the end of this fun foodie experience, you'll have a finished dish to call your own and dig into. You'll not only walk away with a full belly but also the skills to make this amazing recipe at home.
Allergy Information
  • Gluten is essential.
  • Soya is essential.
  • Peanuts are one of the authentic ingredients. You can request to avoid them.
  • Pork is the classic ingredient for this dish. You can request to avoid it to make a vegan-friendly dish.
  • A vegan option is also available. Shiitake is the best for this dish. You can add-on other vegetable dishes in Add-on if you don't like shiitake.
Add-on Classes
  • All Add-ons are in the same class. It is to save your time and make the class more fun. Please allow extra time, 30 minutes to 1 hour. You can always contact us before booking to find out more details.
  • Surely you would like to add some drinks to make the class more fun.
  • You can also learn how to sharpen your kitchen knives. Bring one in if safe to do so.
  • To add more dishes to cook in the same class, it will make the class more tasty.
This class can be held online as well as at the client site. Please send a message to the teacher to discuss the details.
Notice
  • The estimated class duration time is only a reference based on 12 persons in the class. It covers the entire experience, from the minute you arriving until you eating all the food. Don't worry if you need more time. And be proud if you take less time.
  • Please do not bring your own drinks or food to the class.
  • This class does not suitable for pregnant women and young children as the workload and the length of class.
Refund and Reschedule
  • There is no refund if you cannot attend the session.
  • Please book the dates you definitely can attend to help other customers' bookings. We worked extremely hard and never cancelled or rescheduled a single class in last 10 years due to our reasons. We would ask our customers to help us to keep it that way.
  • Our preparation starts from the minute receiving your booking. Reschedule is also wasting valuable booking slots as other customers cannot booked into your seats.
  • That's the reason reschedule will be charged a minimum £50 fee. And must be informed and paid no later than 1 week in advance. It is not enough to cover the rent. It is for you to reconsidering the reschedule.
  • The best way you can help the micro business is that, If you cannot attend booked classes, please give it to your friends and family. They will thank you for that as our classes are excellent. They will return the favour to you. It is win-win-win for all.
  • The last to mention, laterness. Please arrive earlier to allow the class starts on time. It is to respect other customers who booked the same class. Later than 15 minutes to agreed time will see booking cancelled with no refund or reschedule.

  • Beginners are welcome.
  • A person under 18 cannot attend the class alone. We will ask for valid IDs if you look very young. Your class will be cancelled without a refund if you fail to provide proof. This is for your safety and is required by the insurance policy. If we don't follow this policy, the class will not be allowed to continue. Thank you for your understanding.
