What you'll do
In this exciting Chinese Bento class, you will learn how to create a mouthwatering Hainanese Chicken dish that will leave you wanting more! This workshop is perfect for beginners who are looking to expand their culinary skills and try their hand at a traditional Chinese recipe.
Don't worry if you have never heard of Hainanese Chicken before, our expert instructor will guide you every step of the way. From selecting the freshest ingredients to mastering the art of poaching chicken to perfection, you will gain invaluable knowledge that you can recreate at home.
During the class, you will work with a variety of materials, such as tender chicken, aromatic herbs, and fragrant rice, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the flavours and aromas of Chinese authentic dishes.
You will guided to the following tasks:
- Prepare herbs for the sauce. Lots knife skills to learn and practise.
- Prepare the chicken for the dish. Another set of knife skills to learn.
- Make noodle from flour. (If you require gluten free dish, it can be changed to rice). Long string of noodle means long live. Make it perfect birthday gift.
Allergy Information
- Gluten (in the noodle and soy sauce), can be avoided with rice and gluten-free soy sauce. Please leave the diet requirement at the booking stage.
- Soy can be found in the sauce.
- Chicken meat is the classic ingredients for this dish. Sorry No vegan options for this class.
- This class does not suitable for pregnant women and young children as the workload and the length of class.
Add-on Classes
- All Add-ons are in the same class. It is to save your time and make the class more fun. Please allow extra time, 30 minutes to 1 hour. You can always contact us before booking to find out more details.
- You can choose extra dishes to learn in the same class. Allow extra half hour for each add-on dish.
- Surely you would like to add some drinks to make the class more fun.
- You can also learn how to sharpen your kitchen knives. Bring one in if safe to do so.
Refund and Reschedule
- Please book the date you definitely can attend to help other customers' bookings. There is no refund for cancellation.
- Later than 15 minutes to agreed time will see booking cancelled with no refund or reschedule.
- Possibility of Reschedule is very limited and will be charged £50 per booking.
