What you'll do

If you're keen to get into pottery, learn the basics of marbling and how to create your own unique designs by throwing paint onto a surface. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this class is perfect for anyone who wants to explore the world of marbling.

Under the guidance of an experienced tutor, you'll be using the potter's wheel to create a small plate, bowl or cup with a marbled effect that's sure to look incredible when finished.

Don't worry if you've never tried pottery before, as you'll have all the support, tools and guidance you need to complete something you can be proud of.

Note: Finished items can be collected approximately 2-3 weeks after the completed workshop at the studio.

I had a great time. Raymond was patient and can see what I was doing with my hands and tips on how to shape the clay on the wheel. Explained what techniques create more line of marble. That now I want to go back and make more!
