What you'll do
Whether you want a twist on your daily meals, office/school lunches or a unique gift for your favourite foodie, come and join this cooking class in London and learn how to make artistic bento boxes.
Your teacher will guide you through the process step-by-step and teach you some of the most favourite Korean dishes in our shop! This cooking class will start with an introductory talk where you will learn everything from the history of bento box making to modern-day trends. Then, it'll be time to get hands-on with your own creations.
Classes are usually small, and the air-conditioned shop is spacious. This allows your friendly tutors to give you their full attention and answer all your questions. You may even have a private lesson with the teacher on weekdays.
During this Korean Bento Box Making class you'll learn how to:
- Background knowledge of pickling and fermentation food in Asian history.
- Make Vegan-Friendly Kimchi.
- Cook Kimchi Pancake.
- Cook Kimchi Tofu Soup.
- Sit down to enjoy the food you made.
The class is designed to suit for vegan diet.
Add On Classes
- All Add-ons are in the same class. It is to save your time and make the class more fun. Please allow extra time, 30 minutes to 1 hour. You can always contact us before booking to find out more details.
- If you would like to relax during the class, why not add some drinks at the same time? We have a wide selection of cocktails, both with alcohol or non-alcohol version, bubble tea drinks, sake and classic tea to choose from. You can enjoy the drinks as well as learn the history behind them. Select them in the Add-On.
- You can add Omurice or Stir Fried Rice Cake if you want to make your Bento Box look more outstanding. You can also learn to make Bao Buns or Kimbap in the same class. You can wrap your kimchi inside.
At the end of this cooking class, you will have gained some useful cooking knowledge and you'll have made your own bento box to enjoy.

Allergy Information
- Gluten is essential.
- Soy is in soy sauce and Tofu is an essential ingredient.
- Sesame seeds for the final dressing only. Can be avoided on request.
- Egg in Omurice add-on as an essential ingredient.
This class could be held online as well as at your venue. Please send us a message to discuss the details.
Please note:
- For special dietary requirements, please get in touch.
- All ages are welcome as long as paid children are accompanied by paid adults.
- Please do not bring your own drinks or food to the class.
- This class does not suitable for pregnant women and young children as the workload and the length of class.
Refund and Reschedule
- Please book the date you definitely can attend to help other customers' bookings.
- There is no refund for cancellation or absence.
- Later than 15 minutes from the agreed time will see the booking cancelled with no refund or reschedule.
- Possibility of rescheduling is very limited and will be charged £50 per booking.

Knowledge required
- Beginners are welcome.
- Children over 14 are welcome as long as with paid adults. Every one requires a ticket. Children are learning better when parents participate.
- A person under 18 cannot attend the class alone. We will ask for valid IDs if you look very young. Your class will be cancelled without refund if failed to provide proofs. It is for your safety and required by insurance policy. If we don't follow it, this class will not be allowed to carry on. Thank you for your understanding.
