The teacher also shared where the material could be found if we wanted to do this at home. It was nice for a special occasion. I think it's a bit pricey, which is the only drawback.

The studio is clearly a very creative space with a nice vibe. Happy with the two pots I made and took home, thank you Fiona for the help and patience!

• 5/5 from Andrea Mazzella, attended Aug 2025: Great introduction to fixing a ceramic piece with gold and glue! You could bring a broken piece to mend but I didn't have one so I was given a choice of ceramic bowls to pick one to smash with a hammer. Teacher was good, I had fun and I kept the piece.

We were given all the tools and the knowledge, so that we could actually do what we needed to do, with and eye towards being able to do it at home again if we wanted to also. The place is incredible, it felt like entering a little town workshop. Nam, our teacher, was super attentive and on it at all times

We had such a memorable time together and I loved how you weaved in elements of Kintsugi theory throughout the process. Nam was incredibly thoughtful and patient with our group which made for a super enjoyable experience, one to try if you've never done Kintsugi before!!

It was a great beginners class, our teacher was very patient and explained the process step by step in detail. When irreparable mistakes were made, she was kind enough to let us start over free of charge. I'll definitely be signing up to do it again with my friends as I thoroughly enjoyed myself

You get to break and restore a beautiful pot of your choice (or pots if you have time) in a relaxed environment.

There was no such thing as too many questions and he was warm and friendly as well as interesting and approachable. Kintsugi was fun, not as difficult as I had thought and really satisfying! I will definitely be doing it again at home! Also, Lam's Cernamics studio environment was fab - there was a pottery class as we were there which was very interesting and I would now love to do! The only minor things were that Lam was late due to an incident outside of his control (and it didn't affect us as we didn't have any other fixed plans but some may have been affected by this) and the studio was quite cold (though heaters were placed near us once Lam arrived so this was a temporary thing!)

Nam was super friendly and good for all abilities. A relaxing experience and would highly recommend. We travelled from Bristol and loved it.

Nam is clearly very passionate about what he does, and couldn’t do enough to support, encourage, and inform us about what we were doing.
