Looking for new recipes that'll provide maximum flavour with no meat in sight? Join School of Wok on this Korean class where you'll learn you how to achieve delicious Korean dishes packed with flavour using the freshest ingredients and focusing on vegetarian alternatives.
If you are a fan of kimchi, this class is for you! During the three hours, you'll learn how to make tofu Kimbap with a kick of vegetarian kimchi made by you, a delicious pancake, and the popular Mandu (Korean dumplings).
You will learn the basics of cutting, slicing and chopping using a Chinese cleaver. Your talented teacher will also teach you the key basics of Korean seasoning and what to use to make delicious Korean dishes every time! You'll be taught the Kimchi pickling and fermentation process, and you’ll be shown how to do hot stone cooking.
The class consists of two-and-a-half hours of cooking, with the last half hour reserved for enjoying your creations, alongside a well-deserved glass of wine.
  • Kimchi Mandu (Korean style dumplings).
  • Kimchi - homemade kimchi made in class from shredded cabbage and other assorted vegetables in a sweet, spicy and savoury sauce - you will take this home to ferment for later!
  • Yachaejeon - vegetable pancake.
  • Vegetarian Kimbap.
Please note:
  • You must be aged at least 18 to attend on your own. If you are under 18, you will need an adult, also having purchased a place, to accompany you.
  • The dishes in the images may not reflect what you make in the class.
