What you'll do

Learn to cook the delicious Korean dish of bibimbap as well as mastering some other popular Korean favourites at this creative cooking class in London.

If you love bibimbap but don't know where to begin when it comes to cooking it for yourself, or if this is a new dish to you and you'd love to learn more about it, this London cooking class is a great place to begin.

Guided by an expert cooking teacher, you'll learn how to make bibimbap as well as some other Korean classics. You'll be taught how to perfectly balance the flavours of sweet, spicy, peppery and sour and you'll be shown how to slice and dice using a Chinese cleaver.

As you work through the cooking process, your teacher will tell you all about the basic flavour profiles of Korean food, inspiring you to try new things in your everyday cooking! You'll learn how to make (menu is subject to change):

Korean haemul pajeon (seafood pancake), a crispy pancake filled with mixed seafood and spring onions.
Bibimbap, a simple bowl of rice with mixed vegetables topped with marinated meat.
Yak Kochujang (chilli sauce with minced beef), chilli beef cooked in a sweet, spicy and savoury sauce.
Seaweed soup, a nutritious soup made from seaweed and sesame oil.

As part of your class, you'll also be taught the kimchi pickling and fermentation process and how to do hot stone cooking.

By the end of your cooking class, you'll have some tasty bibimbap to enjoy, as well as some other Korean dishes to tuck into. You'll finish your workshop feeling inspired to explore new flavours in your home cooking and you'll have a range of new knowledge and cooking skills to help you make delicious Korean dishes for yourself.
