I was amazed at the progress we made over 3 hours and was thrilled with what I was able to create with my own hands, even with zero sculpting experience. Kevin has a wealth of talent and experience and patiently guided everyone through their own creations. We picked up lots of interesting bits of info along the way. I am already planning to go back to make a dragon face. I can’t wait!

Kevin was fantastic in instructing us and had lots of helpful suggestions on how to create different effects - caricature, classical, fantasy - whilst letting us develop our own ideas. We learned how to build a face, create realistic eyes, nose and mouth and had plenty of space for creativity. It was altogether a brilliant experience, enjoyed by parents and teenagers alike!

We were blessed to have Kevin as our 'coach' who guided us with his artist mindset and learnt how to be brave...thanks for the amazing experience, the 3 hours workshop flew by...can't wait to get back to pick up our artworks once they are dried out...and we will definitely be back to learn more skills. Venue, materials, staff, accessibility is 10 out of 10! Highly recommended!

Loved the class setting, and also the amount of time that the class allows. Most of all it was really fun and we got to be as creative as we liked whilst still learning lots, in a really chilled environment. We are keen to test our new 'face sculpting' skills with some at home pottery sets to continue our love for the hobby!

Kevin really listened to our inspiration and vision and worked so closely with us based on our skill levels, assisting and also giving us creative control. I am not great with sculpting or fine motor skills and I am so proud of my expressive face! Definitely recommend and we want to come back for more!

Neither myself or my partner had sculpted before and we both were given great help working with the clay; I have a lot of experience with portraits whereas my partner hasn’t ever drawn any and was given a lot of help understanding how to build up a face that was remarkable looking by the end. We’d both go back.

I would highly recommend this class to anyone looking to try something a little different (even if you haven't worked much with clay before!).
