BYOB Taster Wheel Throwing Class

Join us for a laid-back Friday night experience at Earthworks, where you can bring your own beverage (BYOB) and immerse yourself in the art of throwing on the wheel! We recommend grabbing your drinks from London Beer Lab on the same row of arches as us; they have a fantastic selection of craft beers, ales and lagers in their well-stocked fridges! Non-staining beverages, no red wine please.

Throughout the session, you'll learn the fundamental techniques of wheel-throwing, from centring clay to shaping your very own masterpiece. No previous experience is necessary – our instructors will be there to guide you every step of the way, ensuring you feel at ease as you work with the clay.

At the end of the session, you'll get to take home your favourite thrown vessel, which will be fired and glazed for you to collect on your next visit to Earthworks.

Notes:
Please be advised to allow for a maximum of three weeks before your thrown vessel is ready for collection, although we aim to get vessels glazed as soon as possible. You will be emailed once your vessel is ready for collection.
