  • 5/5 from Neil Page, attended Oct 2026: Had a fantastic two hour pottery taster session. Our instructor, Jess, gave a quick demo on the basics of centreing and working with the clay - after that, it was all hands on deck (or pottery wheel i should say) and you were free to spin, mould and shape pretty much whatever you wanted, with Jess on hand to provide further help where required. The groups are small (8-10) which allowed Jess to keep an eye on how everyone was doing. In truth, i could have spent another 2 hours at the wheel as the session goes so quickly. Participants are given the option to have their work glazed and fired in the kiln at an extra cost - these items are ready to collect (or delivered) a few weeks after the event. Would recommend for any age group and really good value for money :)
