There were too many people in the class, making it difficult for just two instructors to manage everyone properly, especially for an activity that requires focus and attention to detail. The mugs were dirty, and the drinks were of poor quality. The matcha that was advertised as part of the offer was not provided either. I expected a nice, calm and mindful Sunday morning, but unfortunately, the experience was nothing like that. The teacher was not bad, but he spent a lot of time talking about unnecessary things instead of focusing on helping and guiding the class. Overall, it was far too expensive for what was offered, and I don't feel it provided good value for money.

The tutors were so friendly, made everyone very comfortable, were excellent at teaching their skills and provided brilliant equipment and facilities. The tea, snacks and refreshments were such a nice added touch.

What a relaxing, creative space! We made a couple of pieces from the selection of the ceramics that was included, had some drinks and snacks in the meantime. It’s a great class to come to both with a friend or alone, either way you’ll enjoy.

The teacher was very knowledgeable and even though they were not Japanese, really made an effort to bring background and history. Snacks and drinks were available, and safety equipment was provided. Strongly recommend!

The included drinks and snacks made it feel like a nice treat and well worth the price. It seemed like most people came in pairs whilst I came solo, but I really enjoyed it.

One tip is to not pick something with a rounded bottom because then its hard to break it, file it and put it back together. It would be good to hear more on the history of the practice perhaps as well. One piece of feedback is to have more bowl types so we can have options where its less thick and curved on the bottom. Recommend this experience.

Her assistant was supportive and checking on our progress throughout the session. No one ignored!! Was full class and a great atmosphere. A third of your fee is used to provide classes for children and the elderly. Refreshments provided too.

Went with two friends and had an enjoyable evening. Will be looking at doing other courses with John and his team... bonus is that John and his team offer a lot of charitable classes for children with special needs. Very glad I joined the class.

We liked the mix of talking to give history on the art form as well as the quiet and calm to allow us to create. It was incredibly relaxing and enjoyed by everyone! Choice of pottery to break and repair was good and it takes longer than you imagine. Great choice of refreshments. Would definitely recommend this class. Thank you to both teachers for a fun evening!

Top score for quick confirmation that they could do the date we asked for; a warm welcome from our tutor John, who was really friendly, knowledgable and very patient; tea, coffee and wine were offered and all materials provided; easy clear instructions meant we all went home with a piece of art we were proud of.

They take you through all the steps clearly and there’s lots of 1:1 support. There are great options for pottery and really great snacks too! Thoroughly would recommend

Lots of checking in and making sure I did everything correctly or if I needed help. Love my piece that I learnt with first. I was also able to take a massive vase to the class that had been chipped and do some kintsugi on that which I am so stoked about! Thank you thank you thank you :) would highly recommend.

Both of the teaching team were super helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly with loads of refreshments and snacks! The atmosphere was warm, creative, and inspiring. Highly recommend this unique and meaningful experience! I’ve found a new hobby.

Everything was explained slowly and very well, it was really easy to follow and we were delighted with the goodies we got to bring home. It was a lovely group of people, in a great setting. The never ending supply of refreshments and treats was a lovely surprise and we were looked after very well. I attended the session with my mum and we had such a lovely time, it was such a nice way to spend a Saturday afternoon together. We will be looking at other courses we may be able to attend together. He went through health and safety first. Then gave us a run through equipment and explained. clearly how we were going to progress. John made it fun and was there to help alongside Beth the whole time. We both came away with a bowl and a new skill. There were refreshments provided and also the opportunity to to buy kits etc. Thank you John &Beth for a lovely evening and a great skill we now have to work on. Would highly recommend recommend.
