Join one of these self-guided pinch pot sessions in London and create your own ceramics from scratch. Whether you'd like to craft a mug, trinket dish, small bowls, or a unique sculpture, these relaxed sessions give you the freedom to make exactly what you want and then paint them afterwards. You'll receive clear step-by-step instructions, along with all the clay and tools you need to bring your ideas to life.
Our team will be on hand for advice; however, these sessions are self-guided rather than led by a teacher, so you'll follow the provided instructions to create your work. It's a low-pressure environment where you can truly switch off and focus on the tactile joy of working with clay. You'll finish the session feeling a sense of accomplishment, having made a custom keepsake that will be fired, clear glazed, and ready to collect around four weeks later.
Please note: Suitable for adults and children aged 6+.

Our modern pottery studio in the heart of London’s Design District in Greenwich welcomes both newcomers and experienced potters, ensuring there is a blend of fresh perspectives and seasoned wisdom. Whether you want to try out the pottery wheel, make your own designs using hand building techniques or attend a pottery painting session, there is something for everyone.
Pottery Studio LDN is the second studio by founder, Maritza Masiello.
Following the opening of her first studio in nearby Lee, SE London, she was overwhelmed by the growing pottery community. As demand grew, it was clear there was a need for a second studio. Maritza wanted to find a space which could hold more pottery courses and workshops for beginners and memberships for more experienced potters, as well as a dedicated space for group pottery painting events.
The Design District offers the perfect destination for this new direction, a home for inspiring creatives, and Pottery Studio LDN is proud to be part of the community!
