What you'll do
Join us for a fun, creative, and relaxing evening to explore 3 hand-building techniques pinching, coiling, and slab-building. You can make up to 3 pieces using these skills, which will then be bisque-fired, dipped in our beautiful stoneware glazes, and fired again. The results are stunning! You receive your posted creations within a month, imagine the magical moment when you open your box to reveal the results! The vessels/pots can be for functional ware or try small sculptural work. You are welcome to come with your own ideas during the mindful 2.5 hours of making with the full support of an experienced ceramic tutor to help you realise your creative design ideas. No experience is necessary as the session is beginner-friendly as well for the more advanced participants. The popular venue is our stunning Art4Space community arts centre, which is an inclusive, supportive, respectful, welcoming, safe space for everyone. Proceeds go towards our community art projects providing vulnerable individuals with mental health support in deprived areas in Lambeth, London. For private bookings, we can also arrange to come to your venue. Please note it is £54 per person for 2-2.5-hour workshop, plus travel expenses. We are flexible with timing; day, evening or weekend, according to availability.If you want to book this for a young person (12yrs+) or come together, please speak to us - we are happy to help.

Knowledge required
- No experience necessary as the session is beginner-friendly as well for the more advanced participant.
- It is an adult class for age 16+ (Younger people can join if with an adult. We recommend it is suitable for over 14’s with an adult)
What you'll get
· Professional tools, materials and aprons are provided. Firing, glazing, and postage are all included in the ticket cost. · Refreshments including a glass of wine/bottle of beer if desired, unlimited tea and coffee, soft drinks, and nibbles. · Your finished pottery will be carefully wrapped and posted to you within one month. The postage box is 180 x 220 x 80cm.· 10% off in our studio shop
