How can we help?
Q: What is Kintsugi?
Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics by highlighting the cracks rather than hiding them. You’ll learn a traditional-inspired technique and create your own unique piece.
Q: Can I choose my own pot?
Yes. We’ll have a selection of handmade pots available to choose from. Larger or more intricate pieces may be available for an additional fee.
Q: Can I eat or drink from my repaired piece?
No. Kintsugi pieces are not food-safe and should be used for decorative purposes only.
Q: Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?
Bookings are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled or rescheduled, regardless of the reason. This includes illness, injury, transport delays, traffic, emergencies, work commitments, weather conditions or changes to personal circumstances.
Q: What happens if I arrive late?
Please arrive 10 minutes before the class starts. If you arrive 30 minutes or more after the scheduled start time, we reserve the right to refuse entry. In this situation, no refund or rescheduling will be offered.
Q: Can I bring my child?
Participants must be 11 years or older. Participants aged 11–17 must be able to work independently, handle ceramic pieces safely and follow the tutor’s instructions. This is an adult-paced workshop, not a children’s class.
Q: What happens if my class is cancelled by the studio?
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a class due to low bookings or circumstances beyond our control. We will always make every effort to provide as much notice as possible. Our usual no-refund/no-rescheduling policy does not apply when a class is cancelled by us.
Q: What's the cancellation policy?
A: No cancellations or reschedules allowed
Q: How long does the class run for, and what's the price?
A: 2 hours, £40 - £50 per guest (Earlybird price of £40 applies if you book into a public session 10+ days ahead)
