I was new to this technique, but the teacher made it easy to follow and very relaxed. I especially liked that the cup kept its handmade marks and didn’t need to be perfect. Calm studio, kind teacher, and a very nice afternoon.

The Kurinuki technique was really unique and easy to enjoy, even as complete beginners. Anji was warm, patient, and made everyone feel at ease. The peaceful canalside studio created such a relaxing atmosphere. We can’t wait to see our finished cups and would definitely recommend it for a special date or celebration.

It was a really calming experience and I didn’t realise I was getting to make two cups! I wasn’t rushed and everyone was really sweet about what I made. I cannot wait to see them glazed and fired. It was only £10 extra. Loved it!
