Explore the roots of clay art in this hand-building class and hone your pottery skills with essential techniques, while discovering the characteristics of clay and glaze.
Under the guidance of your talented teacher, you'll learn some nifty clay hand building skills as you make either a set of two tea cups or one larger mug. You'll then use the second session to glaze your pieces, creating your own distinctive ceramics that you can treasure for years to come.
Perfect for beginners, all necessary materials and tools will be provided.
Course outline:
Class 1: Shaping and Decorating - 2 hours
Please note:
  • Fees for materials and firing are inclusive.
  • There will be 2 rounds of firing before your works are ready for pick up. Each firing cycle will take approximately 4-5 weeks. We will inform you once your work is ready for glazing or pickup.
