What you'll do
Learn how to make 3D paper flowers at the click of a button using your Cricut machine. You’ll be able to take your Cricut projects to another dimension, using the scoring and cutting functions to craft unique decorations. In this workshop, discover tips and techniques that unlock even more papercraft ideas!
This is the ideal demonstration for someone who is new to Cricut or a more experienced crafter looking to learn a new skill. The project can be done using the Cricut Explore, Maker or Joy if you are looking to craft along or make something yourself after the demonstration.
If you wish to craft along, the Hobbycraft Artisan will be using a Cricut machine, Premium card stock, the fine point blade and housing, a Cricut LightGrip mat, the Cricut basic tool set, a hot glue gun and a quilling tool.
There will be plenty of opportunities throughout the tutorial to ask any Cricut questions you may have.

She spent the majority of the class talking about how to navigate in design space and spent very little time actually making any flowers in the workshop designed for making flowers.
As a result, the entirety of the course meant only one rolled flower was produced.
There was no explanation or instruction about what cut patterns form what flower shapes.
When I asked if she could go over quilling tools, she merely said you needed a fine slot one. The set I purchased had 11 different tools It would’ve been helpful to answer the question and differentiate the key ones and their uses. In her (very brief) response, she didn’t show the tip(s) or explain any usage for clarity.

Chrissie was very good at explaining how to make paper flowers on any circuit machine. It is a good starting point to begin making simple projects, I have just bought my machine and had no prior experience so was great to see how to set up the canvas in the design space. Would highly recommend to anyone just beginning.

I thought this would be a step by step go through of creating paper flowers, while we were doing them at the same time and could get help while we did it. Very rushed and over in less than half an hour. The rest of the time was taken with adhoc cricut general questions
